Danube River Cruise
After a few days at Disneyland Paris, I will head to Budapest, Hungary, to board the Avalon Impression and cruise the Danube River. My Danube river cruise will take me through the heart of Central Europe's most captivating cities.
In Budapest, I'll marvel at the gothic Parliament Building and (hopefully!) check out the healing thermal baths. Sailing to charming Bratislava, I'll wander through the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, admire Bratislava Castle looming above, and visit St. Martin’s Cathedral, where many Hungarian kings and queens were crowned.
In Krems, I'll sample exquisite local wines from the Wachau Valley vineyards and view beautiful baroque city gates, quaint courtyards, and incredible panoramas over the river. My journey continues to Melk, where I'll explore the magnificent Melk Abbey, a Benedictine monastery perched atop the city.
Finally, in Vienna, I'll indulge in Sachertorte at a historic café and tour the opulent Schönbrunn Palace, experiencing the imperial grandeur that once defined the Habsburg Empire.
